Mr. Jocquese L. Blackwell was a Morse Code Interceptor and Cryptographic Analyst in the United States Army while stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was a member of the 18th Airborne Corps’s unique and dedicated 519th Military Intelligence Battalion. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant and squad Leader in 1994.

He was accepted into the Engineering program at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University after leaving the Army. He studied Chemical Engineering at N.C. A&T and graduated in 3 1/2 years with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
